The Grand Opening was a big hit as hundreds of people flocked in from everywhere to tour our ten new gorgeous models. Snacks and refreshments were enjoyed by all. The Grand Opening party of the Lifestyle Suite at Canyon Town Center on June 12th was a wonderful success. Residents enjoyed the wine & cheese buffet and got a chance to meet new friends and appreciate the features and benefits of the new center. The gathering was followed by a concert at the amphitheater featuring the Dashboard Saints, where the band blended acoustic rock with pounding tunes and strong guitars that created a nostalgic, classic sound. For those residents who have yet to visit the Lifestyle Suite, it’s on Main Street in the Canyon Town Center, Suite #104, between the Hair Cuttery and V and Mi Nails.

The Grand Opening of the Valencia Reserve Tennis and Basketball courts was a huge success on Friday, May 21st. More than 100 residents enjoyed breakfast while listing to the president of GL Homes, Itchko Ezratti, speak about the lifestyle at Valencia. The ribbon cutting ceremony was followed by a round-robin event.
The Pro Shop is now open and features tennis gear and equipment for sale. The Valencia Reserve Tennis Director, Blake Merrels, gave some great pointers to those who played in the round-robin event. There was also a free throw contest on the new basketball court. It was great to see so many residents enjoying the newly opened amenities.

Valencia Reserve’s temporary lifestyle office is nearing completion at the Canyon Town Center. Carpeting has been installed and we should be ready to open in about two weeks. Amber, our Lifestyle Director, is very excited to get started. She states that homebuyers will love the huge space, which will provide an opportunity for many different activities including mahjong, card games, club meetings, social gatherings, and other activities. Valencia Reserve opened in January 2009 and we’ve already sold 277 of the more than 1000 homes. That’s because GL Homes has such a terrific reputation for excellent homes and outstanding values. Five of the nine tennis courts at Valencia Reserve are installed and the Tennis Pro Shop and tennis pavilion are also nearing completion. We’re planning an event for the opening of the tennis courts and pro shop in May and we’ll be inviting all residents and contracted purchasers to join us for the festivities.
The Clubhouse at Valencia Reserve is well underway. The roof is on and the construction is progressing nicely. We are anticipating our estimated opening date to be February/March of 2011. Prior to then, we will be introducing some lifestyle events and activities in the near future. We know you’re anxious to move in, so please check back soon for more updates on our progress.
