Palm Beach County Senior Tennis League Celebration

The Palm Beach County Senior Tennis League celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2011. The League began operating for the 1986-87 season with 9 teams. Today there are about 350 teams representing almost 90 clubs and approximately 4,900 senior men and women playing in what is believed to be the largest league of its kind in the country.
Teams are placed in divisions of six teams based on level of play and location. Division winners play in a playoff system for the County title. Our first ever men's tennis team won the County Title in Division 6. Our first ever women’s team won the County Title in Division 7. We are extremely proud of all team members, Captains Dave Feinberg & Lorraine Ebel and Tennis Director Blake Merrell for all they have accomplished in our first season.
On Wednesday, April 6 at 6 p.m., we are hosting a community wide celebration to honor our teams with banners, trophies and champagne & chocolate covered strawberries.
