Riverland residents had a blast last week at the grand opening of the Arts & Culture Center! Residents experienced the unveiling of the incredible Creativity Center, Artist Garden and Blooms Community Garden. They were also toured by the Riverland lifestyle staff through the art studios, pottery studio, cooking studio and multi-purpose studio. At the Blooms Community Garden, residents had the opportunity to meet their art instructors and the community garden administrator. Plus, appreciate artwork pieces from the instructors and in many cases the actual art pieces they will be able to create during specific classes. These amazing instructors include artists from St. Lucie Cultural Alliance and local Port St. Lucie art instructors. Out on the Event Plaza residents were able to admire art activations by chalk artist Shane Messer and street art muralist Bulk Styles. This is just the beginning of the fun to come at the Riverland Arts & Culture Center!
