Volunteering is a Family Affair

GL Homes employees and their families volunteered at Feeding South Florida in Boynton Beach for GL Homes Family Volunteer Day. GL Homes rolled up its collective sleeves to sort and box 15,270 pounds of donated food that created 12,275 meals.

Feeding South Florida will distribute these meals to food insecure families and senior citizens in Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

Feeding South Florida’s strategy is simple: Feed, Lead, Strengthen. The award-winning nonprofit nourishes families with healthy food, uniting the community around hunger and poverty issues, and helping families achieve household stability.
