Adopt-A-Family CEO Matt Constantine and GL Homes VP of Community Relations Sarah Alsofrom sat down with Culturally Speaking, a weekly public affairs radio show, to discuss their unique philanthropic partnership and the secret sauce behind AAF’s success.
Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, located in Lake Worth, provides housing and supportive services to homeless families and low-income households aspiring to become homeowners. They also operate Palm Beach County’s largest homeless prevention program, offering financial assistance and support to families at risk of homelessness.
GL Homes, a prominent builder since 1976, has developed and supported communities throughout Florida. Through their philanthropy department, GL Homes tackles critical issues and devises effective solutions to support charities across Florida and beyond, with the aim of breaking the cycle of homelessness, combating hunger, and promoting children’s education.
Through partnerships with charitable organizations like The Lord’s Place, Habitat for Humanity, and Feeding South Florida, community support efforts are significantly enhanced. Recently, a breakfast sponsored by GL Homes provided meals for 140 families residing on the Adopt-A-Family campus.
South Florida Sunday is a weekly public affairs radio show that focuses on community issues, events and the arts. The program airs on WRMF 97.9 FM, WFTL 850AM and X102.3 FM.
