At GL Homes, philanthropy is at the heart of who we are. For over four decades, our mission has gone beyond building exceptional communities. We’re deeply committed to improving the lives of Floridians across the state—especially in the areas where we live and work. Through hands-on volunteerism and charitable giving focused on breaking the cycle of homelessness, combating hunger, and empowering children, GL Homes is proud to support organizations that tackle some of Florida’s most urgent challenges.
Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness
GL Homes supports impactful programs aimed at ending homelessness through dignity, compassion, and direct service. We started the Good Night’s Sleep program after witnessing firsthand the critical need for those transitioning from homelessness to have the essentials required to make a house a home and get a good night’s sleep. This program stemmed from our long-term partnership with Gulfstream Goodwill Industries and The Lewis Center in Palm Beach County, and funds everything from home furnishings and small kitchen appliances to cleaning supplies, mattresses, TV and food.
We also created and fully sponsor The Lord’s Place Meal Mobile program, which serves over 1,000 meals each month to those in need in Riviera Beach and Belle Glade. More than just a hot meal, this life-changing initiative offers a critical bridge to combating homelessness by also providing comprehensive social services on the Meal Mobile.
Providing Hunger Relief Across Florida
GL Homes plays an active role in fighting hunger by partnering with food banks and community programs across the state.
We support Feeding South Florida, Feeding Southwest Florida (Harry Chapin Food Bank), and St. Matthew’s House, delivering meals to families who need it most.
From volunteering at food pantries to organizing community events – we’re committed to creating sustainable solutions to hunger.
Empowering Children Through Education & Play
GL Homes believes that every child deserves a safe place to learn, grow, and dream. Through hands-on programs, community partnerships, and meaningful donations, we help create opportunities that inspire confidence, creativity, and brighter futures.
Giving Statewide, Impacting Locally
To date, GL Homes has supported nearly 2,000 Florida-based charities, spanning housing, hunger relief, education, health, family services and so much more. From our headquarters to each local community we build in, we take pride in helping families thrive.
Whether it's restoring dignity to those experiencing homelessness or creating vibrant, inclusive spaces for children to play, GL Homes’ philanthropy is focused on one thing: making Florida stronger, together.
