For children living at St. Matthew's House Wolfe Apartments, a community that provides up to two years of supportive housing for families experiencing homelessness, a brand-new playground is more than a place to play, it's a sign that brighter days are ahead. Made possible through GL Homes' Passion for Playgrounds initiative, the new space offers a safe, welcoming environment where children can simply enjoy being kids, bringing moments of joy and normalcy to families working toward a brighter future. Families and supporters gathered on Wednesday, May 13, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark this meaningful milestone, a reflection of GL Homes' longstanding commitment to empowering children and strengthening the communities where we live and work.

St. Matthew's House has been a cornerstone of Southwest Florida for over 35 years, with a mission to ensure that no one experiencing hunger, homelessness, or addiction is alone or without a path forward.
