RIVERLAND'S NEVER FORGET TOURNAMENT HONORS 9/11

Monday, September 14, 2026

At Riverland, some events are about more than coming together. They’re about remembering together. Held in honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, Riverland residents, first responders, local law enforcement, and members of the community recently gathered for the Never Forget 9/11 Pickleball Tournament, honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call. The day began with a time of remembrance alongside members of the Port St. Lucie Police Department, Fire Department, and Sheriff's Office before everyone took to the courts for a day of connection and giving back. The event also helped raise over $25K in support of first responders and their families through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, carrying that spirit of gratitude beyond the tournament itself.

More than two decades later, remembering matters. Events like this allow neighbors to honor those we lost, thank those who continue to serve, and help ensure future generations understand the significance of that day.
