The Riverland Sports & Racquet Club South Complex is now officially open, expanding the Sports & Racquet Club to an impressive 24 acres. The expanded club now features 53 pickleball courts, including 8 covered courts, 15 tennis courts, and 20 bocce courts, along with covered seating and a hydration and refreshment station for added comfort. The new covered pickleball courts make it easy to enjoy your favorite game rain or shine, giving residents even more opportunities to get out on the courts. Residents celebrated the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a professional pickleball exhibition featuring Riverland racquet pro Simone Jardim, who was ranked the world’s No. 1 women’s pickleball player from 2016 to 2020, among other top-ranking Pros, giving attendees a first look at this exciting new addition to the Riverland 55+ lifestyle.
